Lab Services
Laboratory tests are critical in diagnosing and making medical decisions. We offer on-site specimen collection and point-of-care testing to improve our care. Some tests can be offered almost instantaneously, using a point-of-care device in the presence of the patient and without the need to send the sample to the lab. These include urinalysis, pregnancy, and influenza A and B, and Strep A, among others.

Test Samples
We send samples to the lab to be evaluated by specialists. The turnaround takes anywhere between 48 to 72 hours for the results to be available for review. Working with the dedicated lab ensures accuracy and reliability of the results and helps monitor risk factors for serious illness. We can detect the presence of illicit drugs or toxic agents to monitor recovery or disease progression.
Our lab partner can perform tests that evaluate urine and blood under a microscope, and measure hormone levels, vitamin levels, chemistry analytes, completed blood counts, coagulation, allergens, among other tests.
Benefits of Testing
When we test our patients for alcohol or drug use, or when we do it as part of their medical treatment, it helps to reduce the risk for toxicity from adverse drug effects or interaction between medications. We want to assess compliance and reduce the risk of therapeutic failure and avoiding or detecting drug interaction.
Our Testing Services Include:
Toxicology Screening
Detection of prescription medications and illicit drugs, which allows our team to make the best possible decisions regarding your care.
Blood Testing
Blood testing including complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, liver panel, and screening for sexually transmitted infections.
Pharmacogenetic Testing
Screens for infectious diseases and detection of genetic variations in medication-metabolizing enzymes.
