Billing & Claims

Our billing team will submit claims to your insurance provider on your behalf. Please bring your insurance card and a valid photo ID to every appointment. If you have questions about your coverage, copays, or out-of-pocket costs, our staff is happy to assist.

Price Transparency — Our Commitment

Wilmington Medical Care follows all Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines for price transparency. We believe patients have a right to clear, upfront information about the cost of their care.

Standard Charges — available:

  • Online: View our Price List
  • In Person: Ask at our front desk for printed information.

Requesting Estimates:

You may request a personalized estimate for your care at any time. Estimates are based on your insurance coverage, the services you need, and any relevant copays or deductibles.

Your Rights:

  • Receive clear, accessible information about healthcare costs.
  • Request a written estimate before your appointment.
  • Ask questions and get support from our billing team.

Please Note: Actual costs may vary based on your insurance plan, coverage, and the specific services provided. We encourage you to contact your insurer for details on benefits and financial responsibility.

Important Notice About Insurance Changes

It is the patient's responsibility to inform Wilmington Medical Care of any changes to insurance coverage before each visit.

If we are not notified of a change in your insurance, we will continue to bill the insurance information we have on file and assume that nothing has changed. This may result in denied claims or unexpected charges for which you will be responsible.

To avoid billing issues and ensure proper coverage, please bring your current insurance card to every appointment and notify our staff immediately of any updates.

If you are uninsured or have financial concerns, please speak with our staff about payment options and assistance programs.
